Description
Welcome....This is an original 1966 mono Epic Records pressing of The Yardbirds, "Over, Under, Sideways, Down", catalog # LN 24210.
This copy has a gold sticker stating that it is a Columbia Special Products Promotional Album.
The cover is very solid and clean with perfect seams and spine and the spine print is perfectly readable. There is a promo hole punched through the top left front cover right through to the back. There is some very very light wear on the back but it is barely noticeable. The back cover is still very white for it's age. (See Pictures) This is the only thing keeping the cover from a higher grade. It is graded at Excellent + to Near Mint Minus.
The vinyl is in amazing Excellent condition showing most of it's original gloss and shine and plays with the slightest amount of background noise, only on quiet passages and between tracks. It play grades at Excellent to Near Mint Minus! This is a real beauty!
Matrix numbers in trail off area is identical on both sides- XEM 114163-1C A genuine 1966 mono promotional pressing.
The labels are in perfect condition but there is writing on the side 1 label. It looks like it might be someones initials or call letters for a radio station. I believe that the white inner sleeve is original and is in VG++ condition, although some say this originally came with a clear plastic inner sleeve. Not sure if that is true.
