Description

This is a rare live Yardbirds album that from the linear notes appears to have been issued in 1979. This is marked 320/500 so this is a scarce collectors album for the Yardbirds fan. I am a Jimmy Page/Led Zeppelin fan and anything he played on I collected. This is in the original shrink-wrap but the thin plastic shrink-wrap is coming off on the upper right corner (about a 6" x 2" area missing) and I have close ups of all areas so you can see it has never been removed so the (3) albums in this box set obviously have never seen a needle. There are a few breaks in the front upper label towards the edges but they stop there and are superficial from storage, aging and the shrink-wrap has no punctures in those areas that are still covered in plastic so this is just from shelf ware and aging but most importantly there are no breaks on the edges of the box which would indicate the box was bent so no worries there are zero breaks on the sides which means the album box was never bent where it possibly could compromise the precious vinyl inside so the albums inside are perfect. The corners are beautiful with no scuffing or dings and all side are beautiful as well with no dings or tears at all. The back label (pasted over the box) is perfect less a line at the bottom of the label from storage and just aging (the shrink-wrap over that crease is perfect). These thin paper labels were just glued onto the box and if the cardboard box face has a slight crease in it then the label will show that but I'm splitting hairs with these things because I want the new owner of this beauty to be very happy when they receive it with no "surprises". I have had this awesome box set for many years and it displays really nice and the cover pic of the band with Page with his dragon telecaster is a priceless shot literally weeks before he left to record Zeppelin's first album. This is really a beauty not many of these surface in the original shrink-wrap this is the only one I have seen in the 10 years since I found this one and I paid well over three times what I am asking for it but I have some bills to pay so this is being sacrificed for a super quick sale. Hope it goes to an appreciative fan!
