Rudy Van Gelder Studio, Hackensack, NJ, October 11, 1957 Original New Jazz Lp pressing, #8218, deep groove mono pressing, and "RVG" in the dead wax. Deep Grooved on both sides.

The vinyl is glossy but it shows light bumps in the pressing on both sides, but they don't seem to affect play much, it plays with very little noticeable surface noise, a handful of light background ticks, very close to NM, and a beautiful sounding pressing!

The cover has some yellowing of the back paste-on and a wrinkle at the bottom, and just below that on the edge there's a one inch split coming from the opening inward, otherwise really clean.
