Up for auction is the original Danish Printed LP released on Sonet (SLPS1258) in 1968. Original Sonet orange/red label.  

LP is graded an amazing EX/EX. Vinyl is EX, only a few non audible hairline thin surface scratches. Cover is EX too, very nice. You rarely see these old original prog-rock albums  in such an amazing condition. (see scans).

This their very first album Blomsterpistolen [The Flower Pistol] begins with a crazy sound Overture that evolves into Take Warning where the musicians (and especially Frost on guitar) show their superior talent. Most of the compositions were used for a series of three TV programs for teenagers presenting the story of aliens that landed on the Earth and whose weapon were guns shooting flowers. Two compositions are sung in Danish. There is a cover version of Bob Dylan’s Down Along The Cove and B.B. King’s You Upset Me Baby. The musicians often reach out for poetry of Walt Whitman – on Blomsterpistolen there are 3 compositions with lyrics of the american poet.

We use the official GOLDMINE GRADING RANKING when grading vinyl:

SS (Still Sealed): Still sealed in its original shrinkwrap.

M- (Mint Minus): The record appears new, but a closer look reveals that it may have been played. Flawless.

EX (Excellent): A record in really good condition. It can have some minor scratches maybe some light scuffs from contact with the inner sleeve, but nothing that affects the sound.

VG+ (Very Good Plus): The record will have appeared to have been played, and have some visible wear (lines, light scratches, scuffs...ALWAYS DESCRIBED!), but the record is playable.

It is very rare that Accord sells items under the VG+ condition. It only occurs if the item is of special interest to collectors.
