Matrix : 2400006 A//1 - B//2       Issue : UK 1st Complete Plum Press

This is the UK ORIGINAL press of ’Time And A Word' by Yes. This early press is complete with the A1//B2 matrix and heavy vinyl. The labels are plum and orange and have the 'Under Licence' text above the white strip. It also omits the Yessongs credit on the label, making it the earliest vinyl off the press. It is also has the 1st press matt Atlantic Super sleeve and the rare original lyric insert.

The vinyl is in Excellent condition. It has a sensational mirrored gloss, every track looks absolutely sensational. The grooves show no sign of play at all, there are just a couple of the very faintest wispy marks. The original plum Atlantic label is bold and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is exceptionally sharp and there is NO spindle wear. The record is complete with the original inner sleeve date stamped 0870, August 1970, confirming this is the original inner sleeve released with this LP. It is in Excellent condition.

When played the heavy earliest press vinyl has a bold, deep, rich original sound. There is slight noise in the quiet moments but it is still extremely clear and complete. Superb audio - it can be enjoyed from start to finish. 

The original catalogue stamped original insert is in superb Excellent condition.

The Atlantic Super matt sleeve is in Excellent condition. The image is bold and unworn, the text is sharp and the white is bright. There is just very light discoluration and the slightest edge wear. The whole sleeve is solid and the earliest pinched spine is firm with clear text.
