THEIR FIRST 45 RELEASED BEFORE THE DEBUT LP AND CONTAINING THE NON LP 'B' SIDE ' SOMETHING'S COMING ' .THE SINGLE IS IN A STUNNING MINT - CONDITION . ESSENTIAL RECORD FOR ANY SERIOUS YES FAN / COLLECTOR .THIS RARELY TURNS UP FOR SALE .
UK Atlantic Records . Cat # 584280 . Matrix A 1 / B 1 . Issued 1969 . FABULOUS and RARE Collectable Original UK ( July 1969 ) issue of the legendary FIRST YES Single . YES ' Sweetness ' / ' Something's Coming ' ( MONO ) . Condition of Record = MINT - . Labels are MINT - no writing etc.. the centre has a plastic 'spider' as it was originally issued . Produced by Paul Clay and YES . The Non LP ' Something's Coming ' clocks in at over 7 minutes and is an eary example of CLASSIC YES , 'Sweetness ' is well known and comes from the 1st LP . This single was deleted within weeks of it's release and has always been extremely difficult to find . According to the UK Record Collector magazine less than 500 copies exist and very few are in this MINT - shape . A CLASSIC 45 for sure and it still sounds GREAT now . I've seen many foreign issues of this single listed BUT UK COPIES ARE LIKE GOLD DUST ! Well here is a SUPERB CONDITION UK copy up for grabs . This has been in my personal collection for over 30 years and played just a handful of times , i doubt if you will ever find a better copy . Although this is a REALLY RARE item i have put a LOW START AND NO RESERVE .Please Look Out For My Many Other 60's Psych / Freakbeat / Mod / Rock N' Roll Singles / EP's And LP's Being Listed In The Next Few Weeks.
