Description

The British progressive rock band Yes has released many albums through the years. Several band members have come and gone, as well. The band pops up once in a while, and occasionally performs. In today's rockin' good deal, we have a DOUBLE shot of Yes picture disc LPs, and BOTH are still sealed, and never opened or played!

We'll start with 1977's album called 'Going For the One'. It was the first album cover NOT done by Roger Dean. This cover was designed by Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey Powell of the Hipgnosis company. Storm Thorgerson and Hipgnosis designed several Pink Floyd album covers, and the Hipgnosis company designed covers for Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Scorpions, ELO, Peter Gabriel, and many more. This picture disc LP is still sealed, and in mint condition!

The second disc in this Yes picture disc double shot is 1978's album 'Tormato'. This features another Hipgnosis album cover, the second in a row! It's simple design makes an impact, as a tomato was thrown at a pic. And the name of the album is close to tomato, ('Tormato')....those wacky English prog-rock bands, and their strange sense of humor!

As mentioned, both of these beauties are still sealed, and never opened or played! They come in their own sleeves. One has a Record Store Day hype sticker, the other has a Limited Edition hype sticker. A really nice pair of Yes picture discs, and at a nice price!
