TITLE/ARTIST: Hello and please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - records from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! Here is one of those early, extremely rare and highly collectible "promotional" LP`s by one of the best British Invasion groups ever, The Yardbirds - still in it's original shrink wrap, "promo" tag and all. It is yet another album in outstanding, "like new" condition - both the vinyl and the jacket. This album - their very 1st - is on the original yellow colored, Epic Label and is entitled "For Your Love", after their huge hit single of the same title from 1965. The LP includes 12 great songs - all in MONO and all in outstanding shape (see the pictures above for the song titles). The jacket clearly lists the LP as a "Promotional Album", although the tag mentions it as a "Columbia Special Products" release - buyers should note that Epic Records was a partner/subsidiary of Columbia Records back in those early days of R'n'R. LABEL INFO: This original, yellow colored Epic Label (LN 24167) is nearly perfect with no issues at all - I don't see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little play - if any at all. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also super shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in need of a mention. In my opinion, the vinyl seriously looks as good as the day it was 1st purchased, and quite possibly has never been played. JACKET INFO: Finally, this jacket - still in it's original shrink wrap - is also nearly perfect and has no flaws or other issues to list here either - it appears to be just about as good as new!! In all honesty, this entire package looks so good that I'm not sure it was ever played - every part looks positively clean, neat and so very close to perfect!! INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion, this highly collectible "promotional" LP is in the nicest of shapes, so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that. However, I cannot be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services.
