Description

This is a fine RARE first pressing copy of a live recording from 1968 by the Yardbirds with Jimmy Page, released as a numbered (#28/500) 3LP boxed set in 1979.  The record's tracks span the band's career, and also include a version of "Dazed and Confused," which of course was soon to appear on Led Zeppelin's debut LP, and versions of Donovan's "Hey Gyp" and the Velvet Underground's "I'm Waiting for the Man" (both as parts of extended medleys).  The sound, unfortunately, is bootleg quality, but besides the historical interest of the recordings, the record has a liberal dose of singer Keith Relf's between-track banter to recommend it.  The box is close to pristine with a small tear on the top edge and a little light staining on the back cover slick (M-).  Visually, the discs are clean with some light scuffing.  The last track on side 5 plays with some static (which may be the result of a pressing flaw).  Otherwise the discs play with some light surface noise.  Overall EX.

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
