Description
Recorded in England and released in America in 1965, is the Yardbirds with their first American LP For Your Love on Epic LN24167 MONO. This stunning copy is an ORIGINAL 1965 press still sealed! The original presses, of which this is one, all came with the records sealed in bags and no shrink on the cover. All first press monos, of which this is one, have a small number 1 printed on the lower right of the rear cover. This copy has it also. This is a tremendous blues rock LP and is perhaps their best! Check out their versions of the songs Good Morning Little Schoolgirls, I Wish You Would, A Certain Girl. This is blues rock at it's finest, in my book! The group at this point included Jeff Beck, Keith Relf, Chris Dreja,Paul Samwell-Smith, and Jim McCarty. This album includes their first American hit, For Your Love. I have been buying and selling LPs for over 28 years and this is the first original mono I have seen still sealed!
