Condizioni : la copertina frontalmente laminata mostra nel retro alcune macchie brune oltre ad un leggero ring wear; bello stato, EX / il vinile è stato suonato molte volte lasciando sulla sua superficie parecchi segni che sorprendentemente incidono pochissimo sull'ascolto: giusto qualche moderato clicchettio. Se gradato soltanto visualmente avrei scritto vg, soltanto per l'ascolto ex, pertanto classifico questo disco come VG+

Condition : front laminated cover shows some brown spots on the back and a light ring wear, EX / vinyl has been played many times, leaving on its surface several signs that surprisingly very little affect listening: just some moderate clicks. If only visually graded I would have written vg and if only aurally ex, so I grade this disc as VG+

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie il controllo viene effettuato sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i dischi in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati, i 33 giri su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1 mentre gli EP e i singoli a 45 giri con un Thorens TD 166 BC fornito di una testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All records in auction have been fully heard. Lps on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge, EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : gioiosa musica in buona parte derivante dalla musica folk Greca. Danze come il sirtaki o il syrtos si avvicendano al suono del bouzouki e di strumenti a percussione con ritmiche moderate o veloci. C'è spazio anche per un brano lounge o quasi: "?? ?o??????" (Biciclette / Bicycles) (a5) con buoni vocalizzi femminili accompagnati da sonorità accattivanti. Yannis Markopoulos canta con grinta "????????????????" (a3) velata polemica contro la dittatura.

Notes : joyful music for the most part derived from Greek folk music. Dances like the Sirtaki or Syrtos take turns at the sound of the bouzouki and percussion instruments with moderate or fast rhythms. There's also room for a  lounge or almost lounge track: "?? ?o??????" (Biciclette / Bicycles) (a5) with good female vocalizations accompanied by catchy sonorities. Yannis Markopoulos sings with determination "????????????????" (a3) veiled polemic against the dictatorship.
