Up for auction is Conquering Lion (MIC P 2680). Released in 1977 are 10 roots tracks performed and produced by Yabby You (Vivian Jackson). Mixed by King Tubby, backing includes Aston Barrett (bass), Horsemouth Wallace (drums), Wire Lindo & Earl China Smith (guitar), Pablove Black (keyboards), Bobby Ellis & Tommy McCook & Dirty Harry & Don D. Junior (horns) and Bingy Bunny (percussion). Matrices read: MIC-P-2680-A CHL/ MIC-P-2680-B. Made in Jamaica, the record was kept in a poly-lined inner sleeve and the jacket in a poly outer sleeve. The jacket is rated Excellent and the record NEAR MINT.
Very rare 1977 JAMAICA Original First Issue LP on PROPHET (with the 1st Press Micron matrix numbers MIC-P-2680-A/B & the Original Red label; see photo), with the original thick cardboard Picture Sleeve, in SUPERB condition. Producer &/or Arranger : Vivian Jackson
