This is a RARE AND UNIQUE UK XTC / PUNK TEST PRESSING single by the band XTC from 1978, ORIGINAL UNPLAYED TEST PRESSING AND A MUST !!!
This was XTC second single from 1978 and this is the FIRST TEST PRESSING OF THIS EARLY SINGLE I HAVE EVER SEEN, OR COULD FIND ON THE NET, AND HERE IS YOUR CHANCE TO GET AN UNPLAYED ORIGINAL COPY !!!
The matrices read: SIDE 1: VS.209. A-2, and BLAIRS, SIDE 2: VS.209.B-1, BOTH SIDES HAVE THE SERATED EDGE AROUND THE LABLES !!!
The ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE is also stamped on the back with the release date of: 28 APR 1978.
The single was pressed in 1978 on VIRGIN RECORDS, catalogue number VS 209.
The songs are: THIS IS POP? / HEATWAVE.
This TEST PRESSING SINGLE comes with the ORIGINAL RELEASE DATE STAMPED P/S and the condition of the VINYL is in EX+/EX++ condition (UNPLAYED one sleeve scuff on side B !!!), RELEASE DATE STAMPED P/S is in EX/EX+ condition (The best condition I have ever seen this fragile sleeve in !!!).
