95 x Discogs Members in Oz own a copy, & 104 x Ozzie Members are waiting for a copy!! ## White Music is the debut studio album by the English Rock Band XTC, released in 1978. White Music reached No. 38 in the UK Albums Chart and spawned the single "Statue of Liberty", which was banned by BBC Radio 1 for the lyric "In my fantasy I sail beneath your skirt". In April 1978, the group rerecorded "This Is Pop" as their third single. Originally titled Black Music, referring to black comedy, the title was changed at the suggestion of both Virgin Records and the band's manager. The resultant title, White Music, refers to white noise. ##  The Vinyl is described as Excellent but in effect is probably Near Mint. Plays to Near Mint, well below average background & no skips or stops. I have reduced the grading because of some hazing on both sides which have no effect on sound. Very few signs of play. Several spindle marks to both labels. Reasonable number of fine hairlines & sleeve marks.  The Cover is described as VG+. There is some visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is some minor ring wear to front & verso. There are some colour & minor paper losses to edges & spine. No seam splits but spine has been expertly taped. Couple of minor stains here & there. Please see attached photos...
