This is one of those bizarre situations when a genuine career highlight by a name band is out of print in it's vinyl edition.

By 1992 CD's were well and truly reigning supreme and I imagine the vinyl edition of this album only had a limited run. Also, it's XTC - a band who, since the mid-eighties, were consistently producing great albums that flew right under the radar of the greater music buying public.

As a fan of the band I genuinely place, 'Nonsuch' right at the top of the pile.

What beats it? Skylarking?  'English Settlement' ?

You could debate this for hours, but it easily ranks as one of their best and here is a few reasons why -

Humble Daisy / The Disappointed / Then She Appeared / That Wave / Holly Up On Poppy / Bungalow / Wrapped In Grey / Dear Madame Barnum / Rook / That Wave / My Bird Performs...

Beautifully produced, excellent packaging and prime XTC spread over two discs - all in great condition. Basically, if you bought this from the record shop, as new, in 1992 - you wouldn't complain.

Check my feedback for 100% confidence.

I will post to Europe and the USA too.
