Description

When was the last time you saw this beautiful German pressing for sale? Both tracks of this great 7” release from 1979 were produced by Steve Lillywhite who also produced records from bands like ULTRAVOX (Rockwrok + Young Savage), JOHNNY THUNDERS, SIOUXSIE & THE BANSHEES and so on. The starter includes great ‘We’re Only Making Plans For Nigel. Nigel Just Needs This Helping Hand’ lyrics. The flip features the superb ‘Buschmann President’ and 'Pulsing Pulsing'. I worked for RICHARD BRANSON, the man behind VIRGIN RECORDS, here in Germany, before I became a full-time record dealer in the 90’s. My eBay user ID is 'punky_music' and the following item, on offer here, is an original first VIRGIN pressing (catalogue number 100 918). Classic single and soooo clean.

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
