Would you like to own an absolutely top copy of this classic X Ray Spex LP that looks like you've just travelled back in time to the 26th of April, 1979, and bought for £4.40 at Woolco in Washington? Of course you would. Who wouldn't? Apart from me, obviously.
By the most amazing coincidence, this LP was purchased for £4.40 at Woolco in Washington on April 26 1979. What are the chances? Probably less than my chances of winning Euromillions tonight. Especially as I haven't even bought a ticket.
This was part of a collection whose original owner would play the LPs only once, to tape them, then never play them again.
From the same collection as the Stranglers LP I currently have listed, with more to follow e.g. the first Clash LP in astonishing condition with beautifully fluorescent pink print. Like a fluorescent pink highlighter. But pinker. And more fluorescent. And therefore Punkier. Or something.
No stock pictures and No AI descriptions, unlike far too many lazy sellers these days.
Vinyl Side A:
Matrix: INS 3023 A1
Near Mint Graded near mint only because it was played once, back in 1979. Unmarked, with a beautiful, deep gloss. Labels are unmarked; I can't see any spindle trails.
Vinyl Side B:
Matrix: INS 3023 B1
Exactly the same as side A. Spotless. A top copy of a seminal album.
Sleeve
Excellent. Fully laminated. Only the most trivial of edge creases. I've bought brand new LP releases with more creases. The spine is straight and all text is clearly legible. Great condition overall.
Inner Sleeve
Excellent. No seam splits. Maybe the very slightest hint of partial ringwear. In top condition otherwise.
UK postage is via RM's Tracked 24 service at a bargain price of only £2.99 Ignore the stated costs; they are incorrect.
International shipping is via ebay's Global Shipping Programme. Please read on...
I use the Global Shipping Programme for international sales because I'm too fat and stupid to be bothered with the hassle of dealing with taxes, customs declarations etc.
The ebay UK Shipping Centre takes care of all customs clearance, tracking and delivery to the buyer’s country. So I don't have to.
I have never had any delivery problems or damage during transit using the GSP, unlike using, to pick an example completely at random, 'Royal' Mail.
