Description
What is it: Wizz Jones - The Legendary Me (Village Thing VTS 4)
Mellow, finger-picking folkiness from Mr Jones, who is a bit of a Davy Graham figure but with less of a drug problem. And not dead yet. This has been reissued, but this is very much an original, 1970 copy.
The record: EX - I have played it a couple of times and I guess it is possible that someone else did the same before I bought it about ten years ago. It looks pretty spotless to me.
The sleeve: VG+ - The sleeve is laminated on the front and matte on the back. The laminate is lifting a bit on the spine and has cracked a bit on the top right-hand edge. The spine has been dinged a few times but the text is still clear and legible. It is not a perfect sleeve, but unless you have some kind of mad obsessive compulsive disorder, it will be more than fine.
Trust my gradings! I worked in the rarities department of a famous London record shop chain and I grade old school. If I say something is VG I am speaking Old School Record Collector grading - i.e. a record that has been very well looked after, not (as you see all the time on eBay) something that has been found in a lake. And I don't grade anything MINT unless I know it is unplayed.
I post everywhere, and my rates are fair. I will endeavour to send expensive things signed-for, and will provide proof of postage if necessary and help you hound the postal service if anything goes missing (hasn't happened to me yet - touch wood).
NB: I recycle packaging - it's cheap and (in environmental terms) it's the right thing to do.
