Description

The Beatles legendary second album With the Beatles.
This is a legit UK mono first press, with the incorrect 'Jobete' publishing credit for the side 2 track Money. It was quickly altered to the much more easily found 'Dominion-Belinda.' It also has a -1 matrix number and 'You've Really Gotta Hold On Me' on the vinyl and cover (as opposed to the corrected 'You really Got A Hold On Me').
I'm downsizing from my own collection. This one has been in storage, unplayed (apart from testing it now!), for a number of years.
I'll give as honest a breakdown as I can so know what you're buying:
The cover is very good for its age (nearly 60 years old!)... some light creasing to the side where the LP comes in and out, but a good strong spine and back.
The disc, visually, is good, but does have hairlines and marks (in the strong light) to both sides.
The labels are good, with only a little wear each (slight mark to side 1 - pictured).
Side 1 plays cleanly, though does have some pops at intervals. My record player had two skips on side 2, I Wanna Be Your Man and Hold me Tight. Granted my machine isn't great, and the record's never been professionally cleaned so you might have more success. But I can't guarantee a clean play all the way through.
The inner sleeve is good.
Matrixes and stamps are:
XEX 447-1N   2/RT XEX 447 -1N   17(?)/TA
Overall this is a nice, slightly imperfect, copy of a classic which is getting harder and harder to find. Many copies of this album are advertised as first pressings, but this one is the real deal.
**Please note that the postage quoted for this, second class signed, is for the UK only. Anywhere else and it's obviously subject to change**
Thanks for looking.
