The LP is one of those France export pressings made when the EMI plant in Hayes-Middlesex was closed for upgrades. The LP also has the French stampers as well, M6 298111 1.
Black and White Parlophone label with silver print:
with two "EMI" marks, placed at the top and bottom, which are white with black print (reversed).
The company's name "EMI RECORDS LTD." and the word "MADE IN FRANCE" were printed on the outer rim.
At some point in the mid-1970s the EMI pressing plant at Hayes (just outside London) was closed for refurbishment and EMI contracted their Path? Marconi subsidiary in France to press LP's for a short time. These LP's were then put into U.K. sleeves and sold in the U.K.
The word "stereo", on upper right of the front cover, is large.
There is the words in the box --"IMPORTANT This record is intended for use only on special stereophonic reproducers. ..."-- on upper right of the back cover.
Side 2: Sleeve and label spells track 3 as "YOU REALLY GOT A HOLD ON ME".
The publishing credit for "You Really Got A Hold On Me" and "Money" was Changed "Dominion Music Ltd".
This is from an inherited collection, it seems that the majority of the collection is relatively unplayed, I suspect copied to cassette then remained in cover, in record shelves since purchase,
please check my listings for other early and first pressings stones/Beatles/Hendrix/Dylan etc
