Labels: NEAR MINT
A superb clean & bright pair with just a handful of tiny, well-aimed spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both playing surfaces are extremely clean & bright and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine. Both are unmarked in strong daylight and display little more than a few harmless wispy hairlines on careful inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp. does little more than highlight these minor blemishes but adds no further marks or wear. Both sides of this quality disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
A 1st class sounding copy with perfect full, clean & clear audio throughout and no trace of any groove/play wear on any track or in either channel. My careful play-check uncovered no clicks, pops, background interference or indeed any other evidence of audible wear throughout this wonderful sounding copy which will not disappoint.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A fine example of this iconic cover which retains a clean undamaged & unyellowed front panel with a high-gloss laminate which bears just a single tiny 'thumbnail' wrinkle (on Paul's left ear), but no other signs of wear at all. All corners are clean & unworn and apart form a few small 'pushes' to the rear opening edge, there is little more to fault. The exposed rear panel is remarkably clean and is totally unmarked and unblemished with the only sign of wear being a small bend to the upper left corner flipback. Both seams and the fully worded spine are all smooth, unstressed & unsplit.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with some age-toning to the paper and a small 'EMI' stamp in one corner but no writing, tears or seam splits.
