1963 UK '2nd' *MONO* PRESSING LP
On the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1202
Both labels carry the 'Recording First Published' text but omit the 'Sold in UK..' statement.
An 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with mistitled 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' spelling o n the tracklisting.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' poly-lined inner-sleeve.

Beautiful 'as new' looking surfaces with all their deep-gloss shines fully intact. Apart from a few very faint faint surface lines on track 1 of each side, both surfaces are totally unmarked. There are not even any paper hairlines even when viewed directly under a halogen desk lamp. Very hard to find a beter condition copy of this rare, early matrix.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This copy has been barely played. Apart from a hint of playwear on 'Please, Mr Postman' there is little to fault on this great copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A highly respectable example of this easily tarnished cover. The front panel is clean & bright with just a few laminate wrinkles towards the lower left corner but no 'thumbnails' or any other creasing. The corners are all clean and un-bumped and there are no tears to the opening edges. The rear panel is clean and white with no stains, marks, writing or missing paper. There is some shelfwear rubbing to the lower seam but both are unsplit and the spine is undamaged and fully worded.
