True 1963 UK 1st mono pressing on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1206
The side 2 label has the 'Jobete' publishing credit for the song 'Money'
Matrix numbers: XEX 447-1N & XEX 448-1N
Stamper codes: 3/GG & 1,6/GO
Disc weight: 161g
Housed in a earliest-type front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover with the darker front panel image.
Complete with original rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
CONDITION - (play-graded)
Visually & Audibly: EXCELLENT +
Unusually for this title, this example has been little played. Both playing surfaces retain all of their deep-gloss factory finish, with no groove-whitening or any significant surface marks or wear. All tracks play cleanly and clearly with a power and authority missing from the later 'toned-down' cuts. The entire LP is free from any groove/playwear or any other audible distractions of faults.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
This early example is fully intact with some toning to the white areas but no splits or tears to any part. All corners are in good shape and both opening edges undamaged. The rear panel has some marks from handling but is free from any writing or missing paper.
