CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT
A superb pair bearing just a small collection of faint spindle marks to each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Immaculate, deep-gloss surfaces which apart from a single light fingernail scuff line on side 2 are unmarked & 'as new' when viewed in strong daylight. Close & careful inspection directly beneath my halogen desk lamp reveals nothing mor than a few barely visible wispy hairlines from inner-sleeve removal but definately no scratches or any other marks or blemishes whatsoever.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This amazing sound 1st cutting plays with massive presence & power missing from any other pressing and will never be captured again. The disc has recieved some careful paly on good equipment and it without any groove/play wear or any other significant audible wear. Apart from some slight background between some tracks, there really is little to fault here.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A 1st-classy example of this rare cover which retains a superb unscratched, high-gloss front panel laminate which apart from a single bend to the left of John's head, is unworn. All corners are clean and free from any heavy bumps and the delicate opening edges appear totally untouched. The easily blemished rear panel is pristine white with no handling marks, writing or missing paper whatsoever. Happily the delicate flipbacks are all fully intact and undamaged - as too are both seams and the perfectly worded spine.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD +
Clean & white with just some unavoidable light creases from storage but no splits, tears or writing.
Take a listen to the track 'Roll Over Beethoven', recorded directly from this copy on the player below:
