This outstanding copy of their 2nd album is a 1963 UK 2nd MONO pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1206

Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK....' text but have 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd...' worded rims.

The side 2 label publishing credit for 'Money' is 'Dominion. Belinda (Ldn.) Ltd'

An 'MT' purchase tax code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.

Matrix numbers: XEX 447-5N & XEX 448-7N

Stamper codes: 1/TM & 2/RH

Vinyl weight: 149g

Housed within a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover & original poly-lined 'Use Emitex...' inner-sleeve.

A superb pair with no more than a two or three light spindle trails around each centre hole.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are totally unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight. Even close inspection directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp fails to reveal anything more than a few tiny stylus hairlines & wispy paper hairlines consistent with inner-sleeve removal. Both sides of this barely played disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: NEAR MINT

This copy has clearly received just a handful of careful plays and the sound throughout is completely unworn with no trace of any groove/playwear on any track or in either channel. In fact, apart from a faint whine between tracks on side 1 (common to this -5N cut), my single careful play-check at volume detected no other audible wear or distractions of any kind.

Cover: EXCELLENT +

A 1st class example of this iconic cover which has been carefully stored within a clean, non-smoking environment these past 49 years.

The striking front panel is perfectly clean and retains an unscratched, unworn high-gloss laminate with just a single 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the opening edge & 3 tiny spine wrinkles but little else.

All corners are clean & sharp as are both of the opening edges which appear untouched. The easily blemished rear panel is perfectly clean & totally unmarked with the only sign of wear being a faint bend towards the upper left corner. All flipbacks are fully intact & undamaged and both upper and lower seams are smooth & unstressed with no flaking or missing laminate.

The spine is clean, fully worded & totally unworn.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean & flat with some gentle age-toning but no major faults.
