THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'
This scarce, early UK STEREO pressing dates from late-1963 on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3045
The publishing credit for track 3 on side 2 is misspelt as 'Domion' which should have been 'Dominion'.
The label also has the revised 'Dominion. Belinda' publishing credit for the track 'Money'.
Matrices: YEX 110-2 & YEX 111-2
Stamper codes: 2/H & -/GD
Vinyl weight: 153g
Housed in the earliest variation of this iconic cover which is a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed stereo cover with the darker front panel image which was significantly lightened on all but the initial print run.
Furthermore, it has track 3 on the side 2 tracklisting spelt as 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' which was later revised to 'You Really Got A Hold On Me'.
Complete with its original poly-lined 'Use Emitex...' inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Labels: EXCELLENT
A fine clean and bright set, however the inside of the holes have been inked in by a previous owner.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine, deep-gloss plying surfaces which apart from a single light scuff on side 1 are unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight AND directly beneath halogen light. You won't find a cleaner looking disc.
Audio: EXCELLENT
This well looked after copy sound clean & warm throughout with the only issue being a little playwear on 'Please, Me Postman. There are no clicks, pops or any other audible distractions on this fine sounding disc.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
A respectable example of this early cover with a clean front panel bearing two 'thumbnails' (above Ringo's head) and a few spine wrinkles only. there is minor bruising to the corner's tips but both opening edges are in good shape. the exposed rear panel has some handling marks but no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are fully intact and both the seams and the spine are undamaged.
