Description

1963 Decca Contract Pressing of With The Beatles Mono PMC 1206 A Ridge on Label 2 cm in from outer edge + No Stamper numbers at 3 O Clock marks this LP out as a Decca Contract Pressing. Matrix Nos are Side One XEX 447-7N Side Two XEX 448-7N Overall Very Good does have surface scratches but plays all the way through with no skips or jumps just crackling on the silent intros. The Irony can`t have been lost on Decca that so soon after turning The Beatles down they were having to help EMI who just could not cope with orders for this LP ! Pye were also called on to press this Album as even on overtime EMI struggled to meet overwhelming demand Always nice to own these copies as they are different + scarcer than EMI Parlophone ones.
