Description

An original 1st press of the DEBUT on the UK MCA pink and red label from 1970. Please note 1st label variation for the DEBUT is "THIS ONE"...later copies were the blue and black hexagon and the solid black. THIS is the 1st press! Matrix "7-225/7-224". The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original wide spine cover printed in England by Moore and Matthes. Also included is a blue and white inner sleeve date coded to 11-70 [a month prior to 1st release]. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side, and one superficial trail - nothing heavy that's like to cause significant issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are very and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is, thankfully, very minor and infrequent. Expect a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. The only deviation is a touch of low-level static rustle audible occasionally in 'Handy'. Absolutely nothing intrusive - only just audible in the odd isolated place. But by and large a very solid player and a great rendition.
Cover (Ex-) A difficult cover to find in top condition due to the absence of lamination. But this example has clearly been looked after carefully down the years. Lovely clean front and back with no creases. Difficult to find fault with the interior - no issues at all. Edge wear is light for this title and the openings are still sharpish. The spine exhibits light wear, but all text is still pretty much all legible. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits or markings.
