Description
I'm starting to list a collection of about 200 lps and 45s put together by my wife between about 1969 and 1984. Few of these have been played more than 2 or 3 times as, generally, they were recorded to tape and then put away. About 75% are in Near Mint store bought condition and look as if they've just been purchased. They were usually bought within a few days of being issued so, not only are they in pristine condition, they're mostly first pressings. Plus the lps all have their original inner sleeves and any inserts. The collection has remained untouched in a cupboard at my wife's parents house since she moved out and got married in 1984. If I find any blemishes or faults with any of these records I will point them out. Even the slightest shelf wear is absent from many. If you require additional photos of anything please let me know.
This is a copy of the LP Argus by Wishbone Ash, UK first pressing from 1971 on MCA MDKS 8006.
The stamped matrix no.s are 7 - LNMG - 256 - 1L and 7 - LNMG - 257 - 1L
The vinyl is in Excellent condition with just one or two very faint paper lines. Nothing that affects play. The labels are clean with no stickers, writing, spindle marks, scuffs or stains.
The matt gatefold cover, made by Robert Stace, is in Excellent condition. There are no tears, stains, scuffs, shelf wear, stickers or writing. The only blemish is a slight crease through the centre of the spine indicating that it's been squashed slightly
The Decca blue and white "stereo" windowed poly-lined paper inner sleeve just has a bit of faint ageing / browning to the edges.
