Description
This is a Wipers - Over The Edge LP on Brain Eater Records of Island Park New York fom 1983. On a 10 scale the vinyl is an 8.5+,but has a warp to it. This may be because the center hole is tight as hell on the phonograph spindle. Has no effect on the sound. The jacket is an 8.5. The Wipers are all about Greg Sage's guitar and vocals. He plays with a lot of distortion and strumming that reminds me of all those Killed By Death Compilations. It has a little bit of psych and garage ,but he is playing punk. I mean when he is playing the fast downstroke style it is very similar to what Bobby Steele did in the earlier Misfits stuff. The vocals are sung,not screamed though he does do a lot of whoops and hollerin'. The songs are Over The Edge, Doom Town, So Young, Messenger, Romeo, Now Is The Time, What Is, No One Wants An Alien, The Lonely One, No Generation Gap and This Time. I play these on the cheapest turntable I can find so they may sound a little better on your turntable.I will ship all over the world. I have had one request since doing this to ship the vinyl outside of the jacket instead of in it. On Oct-31-08 at 16:53:38 PDT, seller added the following information:Not that it matters much,but I checked that warp I said it had. It's not warped. The center hole was real tight on the spindle. I pushed it down farther and it flattened out. It looked warped initially because I had it sideways on the shaft. Thanks.
