WINGS - BAND ON THE RUN (UK APPLE / NIMBUS, PAS 10007, 198?)
I'm sure you all know the dealio with these Nimbus pressings - they were very limited and only offered to readers of the 'Hi Fi Today' magazine, sometime in the early 80s. Nimbus pressings are of far superior quality to any other vinyl, and the sound quality on these pressings is astonishing. Living proof that vinyl really is the best music format! These are incredibly rare today, several other albums were pressed by Nimbus, including 'Sgt. Pepper' and 'Kind of Blue', and, no, I don't have these! This is the one that turns up the least, probably because it sounds so good. This is the first I have ever come across, and will probably be the last for that matter. DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS RARITY!
