Description
The famous Nimbus Supercut pressings of a few select records are highly sought after and much treasured by audiophiles and collectors, as they are amongst the best examples of just how good vinyl can sound. Sold through magazines like HiFi Today and Practical HiFi they quickly became sold out and hard to find, are are only going to become more difficult to source.
I have had this album since new, and it has only been played a very few times. I have owned either a Michell Gyrodec or Michell Orbe with a range of top quality arms, like an SME1V and cartridges such as the Te Kiatora Rua, and this record has never been played on anything else. I use a VPI 16.5 record cleaner for most of my record collection, but have only cleaned this record once when first unpacked to remove any debris from manufacture.
Said to be the best pressing ever of this classic album, and increasingly hard to find in any condition, this copy is a real treat - The vinyl is in close to mint condition, if not mint, with just a few light spindle marks to show it has ever been played, and it has lived in a MFSL anti-static sleeve since new and comes with the inner and poster.
Sadly, the cover is not totally as new, and has a few small creases or marks. I have heard that it is know to be a poorly printed cover and there is some evidence of it having lived in a collection - That said, I would still rate it as Very Good.
It will be shipped in a Music-Max mailer - These are one of the better mailers available, and they provide what ought to be sufficient protection from the worst that any delivery company can deal out !
Postage will be by RMSD within the UK and charged at £4.00.
Postage abroad will be by Royal Mail International Signed for service, and charged at cost, depending on where you are, but for example, delivery with insurance to Japan will be £17.00, to the USA will be £19.00. Please contact me to check on delivery costs to you as it may be cheaper than the prices quoted.
Items will usually be mailed out within 24 hours.
Should you have any problems or are unhappy please let me know. I have bought and sold many records over the years and believe my descriptions to be accurate. I am happy to discuss any problems but will expect you to return it as sent, insured and recorded delivery as I cannot take responsibility for it until I have received and checked it.
