Description
For your consideration is a near mint copy of the LP “Stardust” by Willie Nelson recorded in 1979. This LP was mastered at half speed for extended range and greater retention of sonic details. This is a collection of Americana and folk standards, which feature Willie’s rich fluid tenor vocals in the context of perfectly recorded acoustic instrumentation. I am an audiophile with a high end resolving system, and this album has been a personal favorite. So much so that I own it in multiple formats, and no longer need my rarely played 2nd copy of the LP version. I listened to it entirely a couple weeks ago, and have play graded it as near mint. The background is very quiet. The labels have no spindle marks, and the cover is in great condition with very light shelf wear. It will be shipped with a clear plastic outer record jacket, the original cover, and a poly-lined paper inner record sleeve. It has been cleaned with a Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine. I have been an ebay member for almost 20 years, regularly selling items with perfect feedback, but I have not listed LPs until now. I have no interest in becoming an LP reseller, and will only list LPs that have been in my collection and that are in near mint or better condition. I have no interest in overgrading LPs and getting into disputes about what is and isn't near mint. The condition of this LP is not in question. I am planning to list a few LPs per week over the next several months, so please stop by again to see what I will list next week.
