Description
Philips W 09905/06. 2LP set. Made in Holland. Earliest minigroove label. Sample record sticker on one side of the labels
In the late fifties Philips issued a Mengelberg collection in beautiful gatefold sleeves with bound-in booklet. All contained legendary Mengelberg recordings from the forties.
Here is Mengelberg conducting the Concertgebouw Orchestra in Beethoven Symphonies 5 and 9. With To van der Sluys, Suze Luger, Louis Tulder and Willem Ravelli, soloists
Vinyl is in NM- condition.
Jacket EX- Minor crease right under front. Some laminate missing. Booklet fully intact.
