Wilbur Harden ' Jazz way out ' SAVOY SST 13004 (USA) stereo red label with deep groove - rec. on June 24, 1958 - originally issued in 1958 as Savoy MG 12131 - this is the first stereo early 60's issue - on trail-off (dead wax) has the 'RVG stereo' for Rudy Van Gelder Wilbur Harden : fleugelhorn - John Coltrane : tenor sax - Curtis Fuller : trombone - Tommy Flanagan : piano - Ali Jackson : bass - Art Taylor : drums Side A : Dial Africa (Harden) - Oomba (Harden) Side B : Gold coast (Fuller) Visual grading : record is EX to EX+ full lustre has very light wear. Clean labels with minimal spindle wear Playing grading : record is EX to EX+ plays very well with loud and clear sound. Has very few light occasional ticks Cover grading : cover is VG to VG+ has light wear to corners, edges and to spine. Front cover is clean. Back cover has very light age yellowing and minimal rubbing.
