Wicked Jazz Connection is a project of the Amsterdam-based platform Wicked Jazz Sounds. The project really is about just that: connections. Traveling between many musical styles, countries and influences, the band takes you on a journey that spans funk, soul, jazz, afrobeat, house and hiphop. Fronted by the gorgeous and charismatic Berenice van Leer and backed by unstoppable forces Baraka G on keys, Norman Kapoyos on guitar & vocals and Leroy Rey on beats and electronica.

Their selftitled debut album was released on CD in April 2014. We will release it on vinyl for the first time as a 12" with 4 tracks plus a previously unreleased remix and DJ-edit. It features collaborations such as: Bootie Brown (The Pharcyde) and Ursula Rucker (The Roots, 4hero and King Britt).
