Description
The ULTRA-RARE original FIRST pressing on RED VINYL of the Flying Bomb Surprise Package Christmas Volume 2 (1998, I believe 250 pressed?) 7 inch comp. featuring Meg and Jack White's White Stripes, the savage Blowtops and the rockin' Rocket 455! The record also includes the original insert - Flying Bomb Records catalog.
The White Stripes song is Candy Cane Children.
This auction *also* includes the equally rare Volume 1 of the series featuring The Dirtys, Bantam Rooster, The Wildbunch, AND Volume 3 of the series, featuring The Real Pills, MHz, and The Dirtbombs. Three incredible records! The original inserts are also included for all three records. Volume 1 (1997) and Volume 3 (2000) are on black vinyl, first press. As far as I know these were only pressed on black.
The vinyl is in absolutely beautiful shape, as are the incredible fold-out sleeves. There is a very very very tiny fold on one corner of the sleeves, and a very VERY SLIGHT ring crease (hard to see) on the back sleeve. Otherwise they are immaculate and gorgeous. Please contact me if you want any other information or details.
The crease is a small (~4mm) ring crease, barely visible except under bright light and looking extremely closely at an angle. I just added two pictures of it (almost none of my shots could even detect it). The crease is the arc to the left of the snowflake in the closeup and with a ruler next to it (you can see what I mean by barely visible!). It only is visible at certain angles. I also added a picture of the crease on the corner. I hope you can see how picky I am, and see that these records and sleeves are in gorgeous condition!
Don't miss on a chance at a White Stripes holy grail piece of vinyl!
I've worked in record stores for coming up on 20 years, I love the things, but I have to do some spring cleaning. Enjoy! More rare records soon!
