Description
I figured now was the time to part with this, a Second Pressing of the White Stripes second single, LAFAYETTE BLUES.
This has never been played, it is virgin black vinyl! (I always intended to buy a new record player and never did get round to it). Everything is mint condition, as mint as the day I got it from Italy Records.
I ordered this directly from Italy Records back in late 2001/early 2002. Because I never got that record player, this has been sitting in storage ever since. I even stored it in the original cardboard 7" box that Italy shipped it to me in. I'll package that up and include it in the auction, so if you're so inclined you can pretend you ordered it yourself from Italy back in the day. I think I paid by sending them a check. in the mail. They don't make records like this one anymore. (Don't worry, I won't restamp the box Italy used, I'll house everything inside a newer bigger mailing box]

VINYL, SLEEVE, LABELS ARE IN ORIGINAL MINT CONDITION!!!!! No insert: the second pressing had no insert.
Details below on the first two pressings of this 7" single.
1st Press: November 1998 - 900 copies on white vinyl, fold out picture sleeve (white front cover with peppermints) printed on thin matt paper with pics of Jack and Meg on inside cover and with two small photocopied inserts.
2nd Press: Mid 2001 - 1000 copies on black vinyl, redesigned fold out picture sleeve (red front cover with peppermints) printed on thicker semi-gloss paper with pics relating to cars/driving with type in French and English on inside cover and no inserts. <-- What you are bidding on.
