Description
This band originally formed as “The Group” in 1966 in Cincinnati, Ohio. They toured all over the mid-west states and gathered quite a following of fans. By 1968 they had changed their name and traveled to Nashville to record their first album “Declare”. Demand for their music was such that they recorded a second album. Both albums were released in 1970 on the obscure Nasco label. Musically, they have a blues influenced sound with heavy guitar and organ licks. The vocals come across like “Power Of Zeus”. After they broke up bassist Lenny LeBlanc did studio work with Pete Carr at Muscle Shoals Studios in Alabama with the likes of Hank Williams Jr., Crystal Gayle and others. He eventually became a well known Christian artist releasing more than 20 of his own albums.
This is the 2nd album. It's pretty rare especially on the original NASCO label. Cover has some minor wear and a sticker tear upper right corner. Back has some wear as well. Record plays EX throughout.
