Description

Thank you for your interest!

Today I have for sale:

“Weird Al” Yankovic - Polka Party!

Original pressing

Generally the record is in fantastic condition, with no major scratches. HOWEVER, there is one skip at the beginning of Dog Eat Dog at the start of the song, even though there is no visible damage to the record. I cleaned this in my vacuum rcm, and even attempted scratch repair at this point, but nothing seemed to help. Maybe it’s just my stylus or an ultrasonic cleaner could have better luck, but I’m 90% sure this is a pressing error, unfortunately. I’m listing this as G+ because of this fault, but otherwise this pressing sounds great.

Cover is a very solid VG with minor shelf ware and some visible ring wear on the back. No rips, tears, or bends.

Insert sleeve is VG. There is a seam split on one side and some wrinkling with a very small tear in the upper right corner.

All records are from my personal collection or duplicates I have acquired. I am not a professional grader or seller, but I have tried to grade these items conservatively and provide pictures so that you know exactly what you are getting and are satisfied by your purchase rather than disappointed. All records are visually graded unless otherwise noted above.

All records will be mailed in appropriate mailers and records in sleeves outside jackets to help prevent seam splits in transport. If you would like me to open a sealed record before mailing, please let me know and I will be happy to oblige.

Payment is due within three days of auction close. I will combine shipping at a rate of $1.50 per lp ($3 for 2 lp album, etc.). I will ship packages within two business days of received payment.

CONDITION UPDATE

I discovered the skipping was due to my cartridge alignment. After correcting this, the record plays perfectly. I am updating the condition to VG+ as there is still a slight rub spot on track two, but it no longer affects the sound quality.
