Description
This is a Mint- stock copy of the very first pressing of The Weight b/w I Shall Be Released 45 rpm single from Music From The Big Pink in 1968 by The Band BEFORE they were The Band. Label shows album title as Music From The Big Pink including the word "The" which never appeared when the album was released. Artist lists individual members (Jaime Robbie Robertson, Rick Danko, etc) instead of The Band as some later versions did. Top side written by Robertson (and uncredited Levon Helm) while the flip is a Bob Dylan (now) classic. I rate this visually as Mint minus---still in original sleeve which does have a small sticker on it and shows some wear. These are getting harder to find. This a label variation which shows top side publishing as Calee Music instead of Callee Music as well as different placement order of band member names.
