Description

A three track 12" release on the UK Rockers Plantation label released in 1986...All the tracks are from the 1976 LP entitled " Black Is Our Colour" produced by Vivian " Yabby You " Jackson. The LP was released on the Jamaican " Prophets " label and distributed in The UK by Roy Allen.........later known as Roy Forbes Allen of Hawkeye Records and this 12" is distributed by Hawkeye.....Presumably Roy had access to the original release and was able to release this three track 12" from the original master, releasing this at a time that Wayne Wade had gained popularity again due to his 80's releases.  There have been a few white label pressings of this release sold on various sites but not many finished label copies of which this is one....catalogue number PL 21 by the label PLD 21 in the run out area.   This copy is in great condition and probably unplayed, there is a small pressing fault with a piece of dirt pressed into the vinyl which produces a very faint click for one maybe two revolutions, but this is me being very picky, otherwise this plays perfectly.  There are three vocal cuts but no dubs just straight songs.
