Out In The Storm is Katie Crutchfield's fourth album as Waxahatchee and the second to be released through Merge.
As the title suggests, Katie Crutchfield tells of explosive situations and how to control them on the new album. She embraces her flaws and explores new sonic freedom. 'A running theme on the album is accepting your own imperfections that you've been trying really hard to hide,' says Crutchfield. "Never Been Wrong" is the opening song of OUT IN THE STROM, lyrics Katie Crutchfield is open and direct "You walk around like/ It's your god-given right/ You love being right/ You've never been wrong."
