SIGN UPA raw, essential document of the early sound that would soon evolve into Joy Division, Warsaw captures the band’s formative energy across their 1977–1978 studio sessions. Driven by jagged guitars, stark rhythms and Ian Curtis’ unmistakable vocal presence, these recordings highlight the transition from punk urgency to the darker post‑punk atmosphere that defined their later work. This 2024 edition compiles the full session material, including key tracks such as “Leaders Of Men”, “Failures”, “Transmission”, “Interzone” and “Shadowplay”, alongside additional early recordings.
