Original OZ LP released in 1978 on Asylum Records. Cat: 6E118. Comes with printed lyric inner bag which is in Excellent conditiuon.
Warren Zevon's self-titled 1976 album announced he was one of the most striking talents to emerge from the Los Angeles soft rock singer/songwriter community, and Linda Ronstadt (a shrewd judge of talent if a sometimes questionable interpreter) recorded three of its songs on two of her biggest-selling albums, which doubtlessly earned Zevon bigger royalty checks than the album itself ever did. But if Warren Zevon was an impressive calling card, the follow-up, Excitable Boy, was an actual hit, scoring one major hit single, "Werewolves of London," and a trio of turntable hits ("Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner," "Lawyers, Guns and Money," and the title track).
Tracks : Johnny strikes up the band/ Roland the headless Thompson gunner/ Excitabel boy/ Werewolves of London/ Accidently like a martyr/ Nighttime in the switching yard/ Veracruz/ Tenderness on the block/ Lawyers, guns and money. There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has a few light scuff marks and is in Excellent condition. Cover has light ring wear, a few light marks and tiny surface tears aroudn edges and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
