Description
Yellow label with deep groove. B?oth labels have 446 W. 50th St. address; same address at the bottom of the back cover. Wardell Gray, tenor sax on all 12 tracks. 4 tracks from 1949 with Al Haig, piano; Tommy Potter, bass; Roy Haynes, drumsf. 4 tracks from 1950 with Phil Hill, piano; Johnny Richardson, bass; Art Mardigan, drums. 4 tracks with Teddy Charles West Coasters from 1953 with Charles, vibes also includes Frank Morgan, alto sax; Sonny Clark, piano; Dick Nivison, bass; Larry Marable, drums.
Cover: Good + Top edge and spine have complete split. Light overall aging. The jacket is clean.
Record: Mint Visually shows no wear. Played only a very few times with care. 2 or 3 tiny surface rub marks that are barely visible and do not affect the sound. There are 3 or 4 very light clicks at the beginning of Track 1, Side A. And a few clicks on Track 4, Side A. All are barely audible and may be in the pressing. Fine sound and qualtiy, close to Mint. Audibly checked.
