Ecstatic workout by Dolphy disciple Walter Zuber Armstrong. My question is, How did a spiritual traveller artist from Gotham end up in friggin' Bellingham? I guess if you're going to be out-there you might as well be as far removed from the rest of the country as possible. Now that I'm on this jag I must say that Whatcom County is, indeed, the loveliest place to live that I've experienced in the lower-48, with Seattle and Vancouver close by, nestled in a fertile valley surrounded by mountains and the Straight of Juan de Fuca. That must've been what Mister Armstrong thought when he performed on the Shire-esque campus of Western Washington. Then, of course, there were his Canuck associates across the border. I worked in a pizza joint in Lynden and I wish I never left. Please forgive the ramble, I now reside in the bowels of New England's rotting industrial infrastructure, lovely, lovely Waterbury, CT (the negative of Bellingham). That is where I will ship from.
This self-released title on World Artists does not indicate a catalog number. There was another release of this album with a different cover that indicated the World Artists catalog number WA 1001. Original shrink wrap is intact, opened.
