Description
Violet label with silver text. The label has a ring line inside the perimeter. This appears to be a very narrow groove in some places. On the bottom of the label lists the item as a product of Prestige Records and listed on the bottom of the back cover is the address: 203 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J. 3 tracks with leader, Walt Dickerson, vibes; Andrew Hill, piano; George Tucker, bass; Andrew Cyrille, drums.
Cover: Mint(-) Intact and clean. Slight impression of the record on the front cover. No aging.
Record: VG++ Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface but some light discoloration on the vinyl in places. This does not affect the sound. Played a few times with care. On Side A, there are several very light clicks that are random. These occur mainly on the first 1/3 of the Side and practically disappear on most of the balance of Side A. While there seems to be much less noise thru most of the Side, some random noise can be heard infrequently. On Side B, Track 1, there are a few random, light clicks at the beginning of the Track. Most of the Track plays with only the occasional light crackle. However, there is some crackling thru the bass solo and some crackles on the last 2 or 3 revolutions. This noise continues onto Track 2 for several revolutions. After the first 1/2 of the Track the noise is reduced. The noise is in the quality of the pressing and not a result of wear or handling. Audibly checked.
