Description
Walkenhorst DePugh promotion/demo record, recorded in Kansas City on Damon Records, one-sided LP with 4 tracks; psychedelic rock from ca. 1972. It gets no more rare than this! Only 25 copies were pressed of this demo record, and this is one of the originals.
Bob Walkenhorst was the driving force behind this duo, also known as Phantasia, and was involved in several other bands, including Trizo 50; The Rainmakers; Steve; Bob and Rich; and Walkenhorst and Porter. Bob is from the small west-central Missouri town of Norborne, which is where I stumbled upon this copy at an estate auction. In the lot were also 2 copies of the Walkenhorst Brothers "The Last Adventure" album, which I also have listed.
The LP's tracks are:

2. Winter Wind
3. Chasing Now The Flying Time
4. The Saddest Song I Know
The condition of this copy is VG, with significant surface scuffing and several visible scratches. It also could use a good cleaning with professional equipment, which I do not have. However, none of these affect play-through, and given the rarity of this album, are not beyond reasonable. I do NOT have the original plain white cover, and I'm not sure if the inner sleeve I have is the original, either. Again, this does not change how rare this album is.
In the photo, the label does not appear the silver-gray that it is. I assure you----this is NOT a bootleg or reissue.
