Description

The Wailers/Bob Marley. Catch A Fire. ILPS 9241. 1973 First UK Pressing. Zippo Lighter Cover. Bought by me and been in my record collection ever since, enclosed in a plastic sleeve. The LP label is the original pink rim version and is in excellent condition. Matrix No’s are:  Side 1. ILPS 9241A-3U and Side 2.  ILPS 9241B-4U.  The original matrix no’s, first allocated for this pressing, BML 2001,  are crossed out in the dead wax. Cover sleeve designed by Rob Dyer and Bob Weiner.The record is encased in an outer sleeve which represents a Zippo Lighter Case, which opens with a side hinge. The inner sleeve is the original black Island Records version which came with the first pressing. Back cover has Basing Street address under the Island logo.
